To kick off National Farmers Market Week, the Restaurant Association of Maryland (RAM) and the Maryland Department of Agriculture are teaming up to host a summer vegetable showdown at Baltimore Farmers' Market on August 6 from 9:00–11:30 a.m. The competition will be held at the intersection of Holliday and Saratoga Streets and will feature local produce provided by our farmers. Competing chefs must utilize local, fresh products offered at the market to create their best vegetarian summer dish. The winner will receive a vegetarian Golden Ticket to the 2023 World Food Championships in Dallas, Texas. We can't wait to see what delicious summer vegetable creations our local chefs come up with. And we hope to see all of Baltimore underneath the JFX on Sunday, August 6 to celebrate The Baltimore Farmers' Market with us and cheer on the competing chefs.
